The other day, while I was trying to figure out what content I have posted online, I came by a list of quotes that I'd been steadily adding to as I was growing up. Each of these quotes have held significant meaning to me at different points in my life. To make sure I remember and can continue to reference these, I'm jotting them down here and will continue to add when I remember.
“We are what we repeatedly do”
“You start to respect the Duck. Paddle like hell under the water and be smooth and calm on top where everyone can see you. You learn the hard way that if you lose your cool you lose.”
“When you encounter a brick wall, remember that they are there for a reason: they let us prove how badly we want things.”
“Spending begets spending”
“I do not blame my parents for their point of view. There is an expiry date on blaming your parents for steering you in the wrong direction. The moment you are old enough to take the wheel, responsibility lies with you.”
“You can easily judge the character of a person by how they treat those who can do nothing for them.”
“Truth is one, paths are many.”
“Misery is comfortable, happiness takes effort.”
“Just remember, it’s a small business and a long life. You’re going to see all these people again.”
“The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity”
